Admittedly this is the most unscientific of sources, but this Yahoo Answers - ducks - post claims Sapphires have a hardness of 9 out of 10, where 10 is diamond. That leads me to believe it'd be harder to crack than glass.

I can't back it up with another source, but I have heard this / read this assertion somewhere. It's at least founder-culture folklore. Trying to remember which book I read it in... will edit if I can find / remember. Here's a reference to a

You have to think of it like BD. "What's FB going to get from this? What's Twitter going to get from this?" If you don't have a good answer, don't build on their platform. We at Vidpresso think we have a pretty good answer... Facebook and T

Yeah, Traci is a travel nurse. She's also done "registry" nursing, which is like local agency nursing on a shorter term basis. When she was a registry nurse, she would work at different hospitals, once or twice a week.

You should take your technology and apply it to the nursing industry. I've been saying it for years: Healthcare is an inefficient marketplace. Hospitals always have a hard time filling nursing demand, so they go to extraordinary lengths. Fo

I just peeked at the source, and it says it's MIT licensed, but without the BDFL[1], would we see progress in the spirit its intended? I worry about this with Angular too, but given that Google has obvious areas of synergy, I'm way less con

I'm scared of meteor, no offense, partly because of its funding structure. It's a startup, but I think one thing I haven't been clear on is their licensing scheme, and how to deal with them if they die, etc. While I'd actually love to use m

I think as one uses Angular more, a person will move most of their code out of `ng-click` style directives into their own components which might include click handlers on them. That's the case, for me anyway.

I think of APIs as open-source business development, and unless companies get a lot of value out of their apis, they shut them down for the same reason they shut down BD departments: They aren't providing any value.

The Angular example is a bit incorrect... when you do an ng-repeat, you're going to do like ng-repeat="person in people" and then each template item will be like {{person.name}} as opposed to just {{name}}. Just a little clarity in the code
