Unless you work for that ISP though, you don't know what the limits to their network are or how many people you actually share that line with. It's gigabit speeds until all your neighbours suddenly want to download something too.

That would probably increase the amount of storage space people would end up buying which would greatly increase the electricity demands on the end user. I would bet this is already the most efficient way of it working. You can setup a prox

Had a Nokia 7.1 for a few years now. Really nice phone, still very quick and the battery easily last 2 days (still). Cost £190 when new. Not sure why people pay more really.

To counter that though, it's not nearly as efficient and the additional heat definitely puts more stress on the battery possibly lowering it's lifespan.

They absolutely have the ability to do that though, they clearly have the ability to shut a device down entirely too based on the iOS activation system. I probably wouldn't go as far as 'dystopic' either.

I've switched banks 4 times over the last few years to take advantage of different deals offering a few hundred pounds or so for join-ups. Never had an issue.

Windows hasn't required confirmations for deletions in years. And the Documents vs My documents folder makes me think it's your organisations setup that is to blame for much of this. Don't use classic start either. Just remov

I think the increased energy usage mostly comes from the increased number of base stations required to service a population.

All these things can be stopped with the Teams policies which can be set by the Teams owner (probably the teacher). Better education regarding these tools is required for sure.
