TIL temporal_rs was a thing. Not to be biased, but I think it's awesome how much Rust is used in the JS ecosystem. I saw Vite using oxc in some parts. Love it!

Having a botnet to control the conversation between (part of) SV? That sounds like a good enough motive. They just have to be hidden well enough

Lol I know which tool they're talking about. I do have to say its a lot less stressful, but it also becomes a lot more meaningful. I could've answered these questions in an email. The bot still plays it safe lile "oh! Can you

I had a project I already tried out in Symfony and then full typescript, both a normal REST setup and ORPC. They all felt like - at scale - they became messy and I was unsure where goes what. I gave RoR a try last year, and so far I'm

Weird take, will you also look sour at devs who use local LLM's in ~50 years? Or is that different

We should at least start with electronic voting to compare it against real voting. I know there have been more smaller local tests, but they are not comparable.

I have a feeling that people who shout this (I gotta be careful, I call out a bunch of articles as LLM-written) do not always know what to look out for. Em dashes aren't inherently LLM, neither are some of the phrases it uses. One patt

This is probably a fun way of finding the median screen quality (in a world where no one has color blindness or any eye issues, so scrape 15-18% of the results away ig)

I care less about receiving the money and more about the implications people have regarding money. For example, when I'd joined a company I did not get any travel expenses. They expected me to pay the 200 euros a month myself. I'd

AI written code with a human writted blog post, that's a big step up. That said, it's a lot of words to say not a lot of things. Still a cool post, though!

Hey there! This is the exact thing that happened (although I cannot say I was a perfect employee). They replaced me for a relatively important product, where I was already the only dev along with 4 PMs that never agreed on each other. The e

I sometimes feel like a paid newsletter that's curated by users would be fun. I'd happily pay €5 a month for a weekly/daily digest where the comments are en par with HN.

I don't care if the code is generated, i care if the content is. I don't want to read another "No complexity. No fuss. No buzzwords". "It's not just a tool, its a lifestyle". Its sooooo boring...

I think a lot of people have a biased idea of writing code. When you're a good programmer, you will be able to prompt a pretty good concept and navigate through any missteps. When you have no fucking idea what you're talking about
