Probably the spaced repetition application SuperMemo [1]. Beyond normal SRS like anki it has a feature called incremental reading [2] which makes studying at least 3 times as easy for me. I have ADHD so IR helps a lot by taking care of 90%

Ironically I'm using Mac over Linux because I want to use parallels to run a windows application that I must use. I tried using VMware for a while but it drove me insane that everytime I switched workspaces it would exit fullscreen.

Is there some guide to that you recommend/have you considered writing one? I've been thinking of doing e-ink display + rasberry pi but your approach sounds cheaper and likely better for the environment.

Have you tried Notion? I recently started using it to manage prioritized tasklists (though not calendar, I usually just make a plan the day before). Cramming too much in seems problematic from a deep work stand point, best to be able to foc

I've been thinking of something similar, I have a tasklist system prioritized and sorted by value/time (in Notion), would be nice to use one of these e-ink displays to display top few tasks so if I have some free time I can immedi

I’d love being able to do that too but imagine if both of us had that same power. If we both have no prior experience with each other, it would either be wonderful (if both of us really have nothing we want to hide) or horrible (because ins

I think there are much worse issues than just the wildlife trade. I think long-term we're gonna have a lot of issues with antibiotic resistance diseases as a result of overuse in the meat industry [1]. [1] https://www.scienc

On linux you can use SM via vmware/wine and on os x it's quite usable with parallels. If you're using SRS just for language learning then being able to use on mobile can be helpful but I think for those cases supermemo.com ca

The power of knowing things comes largely from the associative characteristics of knowledge. Having 2 facts on the net and 2 facts in your brain are entirely different. You can't create much with 2 facts in the net while 2 facts in you

I really like this site [1] because it shows you just how big the gap between native and non-native speakers is. Non-native speakers generally know around 10,000 words while adult native speakers tend to know upwards of 20,000 words. I thin
