I hope this isn't too off topic, but is there anything similar but for networked devices? For example, something for IOT devices to talk to each other minus the internet.

I haven't built anything complex or production ready with Ionic, but I have played around with it a bit to see it's value. I really feel like Ionic should be a bit more up front about some of the additional dependencies you may ne

I really liked Mithril, I would recommend checking it out. It definitely is kind of weird to write out your HTML with javascript, but it gets easier as you go along. The performance is ridiculous as well and it was a lot easier to troublesh

What kind of stack are you working with? Honestly, this isn't the first time I tried building this on the site that we have, but this has been the farthest I have gotten without UI jank or slow initial loading. I would have much prefer

I am going to respond to each point - Nailed it on this comment. I have been trying to figure out something that "makes sense" in terms of file structure and even code organization. So far, it hasn't been too much of a hindra

That sounds really cool! How simple/difficult was it to set up the prerendering and what kind of stack are you running?

Web Workers essentially make your Javascript multi-threaded. What this means is you can run multiple processes concurrently. You do not have access to the DOM with Web Workers, but they are really handy for anything that is long running or

You don't have access to the DOM with Web Workers but you can still perform an AJAX request and load in the data without disrupting the thread that renders the HTML. I highly recommend checking out the Pokedex progressive Web app for s

Right now the render speed is good, but could be better. One strategy that seems to work for this project has been to load in large, JSON objects using web workers while the first page is loading. This will allow the page to load and not di

What language is this in? Never really tried anything like this before, but just went through the entire game and beat it. Seems like you have to trick the threads in the correct sequence in order to introduce deadlocks, but what is the ove

I hope this not too off topic, but are there any stand out tutorials for learning Phoenix and/or Rails 5.0? I am pretty intrigued by both. Does anyone know if there is any support for isomorphic Javascript on either platform? Or is tha

Saw your response to hello_newman and checked it out. More interested in the code (and its organization) than the finalized app, but I will check out the tutorial when I get some free time. Thanks for being so responsive, looking forward to

Do you have any working examples of apps using the framework? I took a look at the Github repository for the project and didn't really see any, but I could easily have missed something. I have made a couple of trivial Angular/Rail

I did little research and now I understand why I was confused. JSON lacks hypermedia support which makes it violate HATEAOS ( http://restcookbook.com/Mediatypes/json/ ); inherently, there can never be a RESTful, JS

I wrote that question after reading the article, I am just not really understanding why an HTML response would be a better alternative to JSON. I thought the whole reason JSON was used for RESTful API's due to the client-server princip

I think this example adds truth to the author's argument in that there have been a few social media apps like Instagram and Snapchat that took off in ways the Google Plus never did. I do agree that there was little impetus to move to G
