It seems to mostly be driven by managers who are not part of the productive class and therefore can’t perceive the hit to productivity and WLB the office incurs. If you spend your entire day in pointless meetings anyway, then yes, maximizin

Have you ever tried hiring these people? At FAANG scale? Good luck …

You really can’t go wrong between those options. Anyone who is questioning you must be nuts.

That’s a solution without a buyer in a market that’s about control and indoctrination, or childcare at best. But not education.

Level - how so? I’m on the extroverted side of an introverted team/industry. I love WFH because of its obvious superiority. Yet it seems to me it is more isolating of more introverted colleagues. It is a lot easier for them to take a b

One of the great questions of the 2020s is - why are they pushing the bugs? Cui bono?

Don’t push it. Just pick something else to focus your spare time on (fitness, video games, cooking, whatever). Eventually you’ll get inspired again.

It's an intractable problem. Even sophisticated managers who are not experts will propose absolute crackpot ideas. Just show them some clips of Watson and AlphaGo then try to extract as much resources as you can.
