Holy ripoff Batman. Check out their fees ! Sorry but they seem to charge for just about everything you can do. I'm not expecting free banking service but 25 GBP/month just to have an account there ?? 2.75% for using the debit card ?! WOW !!

Why can't I be allowed to choose the authentication method I use to access MY data (and be responsible for the consequences if mis-used). Is my data in linkedin really my data after all?

by ragmondo 14y ago
I wrote a short article about this kind of stuff - if it's really my data, then let me use my lock on it : http://ragmondocom.appspot.com/2012/03/My-Stuff-My-Lock Then I get to choose what strength lock I put on it.

I have the ardupilot APM2 board. It was trivially simple to drop into my Parkzone Trojan 28D (there's a lot of space in the airframe) stuck on with some velcro. The most difficult thing was waiting for the board to get a GPS lock (sometimes

I can only talk for financial IT and I can tell you it's suffering. Budgets cut (or just not increasing) on any "interesting" projects, double dip recession (yawn) and the fact that a lot of companies are trying to hide their disastrous att

"me too" for the text + illustration option. I have work, kids etc etc so I want to learn what it is at my pace, not at a pre-determined unknown "I wonder how long this video is and what level its pitched at" kind of pace.

You're right, it's not 10% of the industry. Misread the pricing structure. Thanks for the correction.

Sorry to say "me too" but "me too". At least let me play with a few screens before the nagging starts. Shame. Looked like a good idea and I'm always trying to tie my fingers in knots with the next emacs C-S-M-repeat-last-interactive-regexp-

Exactly. It's not as if everybody left the "good ship facebook" on autopilot. With the amount of cash they have now, they could easily develop / acquire hardware, create another paypal, replicate "google apps for business" or even Android.

Isn't this what "Color" was supposed to do (amongst many other things that is) ?

Here's something ironic... I am just re-opening my paypal account after it was closed approx 8 years ago (oct 2004). There is a small sum outstanding on it due to an ebay sale that the buyer said "never got goods" and I said "but I sent the

If you watch the roadshow video, Zuck even makes a point that they are "real soon now" making these advertising platform mobile friendly. Now it seems obvious why they had to emphasise this.

The problem isn't that there isn't a standard - "The great thing about standards, is that there are so many to choose from !" There's x10, zigbee and zwave to start from. Oh and let's not forget the announced in Google IO 2011 their standa

I started making a text adventure over google chat - based on app engine (not that this matters). The idea being that you could add / update / change the "world structure" as well. Oh and it could easily be an MMO as well. Anybody intereste
