Yes, anytime you have untrivial amount of the data, you go for 1. Create new column 2. Backfill new column over time (manual, triggers, etc.) 3. During small downtime drop/rename (i.e. swap the columns).

Hmm, somehow it does not work at all in Firefox Developer edition though. Thought I'm missing something at first.

Not thinking of leaving - it’s small niche app and don’t have much incentives to migrate.

Kind of agree. So far as 1password user I can't see much reasons to use it. Or where does it stand with the built-in password managers. Guess the education and availability of the password managers can't hurt in long run.

I second that. For me it's worse actually during times when I would normally use dark mode (i.e. evening). My 40-something eyes can get tired while having contact lenses and then dark mode is not so much helpful. When switching to gla

Thanks for the confirmation. As mentioned I'm not saying no to it. It is really that "really understand" part which holds me back for now - mainly the observability and dealing with edge cases in high-throughput environment.

Having recently heard a lot of about PostgreSQL in Kubernetes (cloudNativePG for example) it always makes me wonder about the actual load and the complexity of the cluster in the question. > This is the reason why we were able to easily

My PHEV ICE engine turns on from time to time and keeps on running for short periods of time. I believe it last happened on Friday when I started the car and it was on for roughly 10 minutes. Have to say I was really wondering "what&#x

Right now diff between Air vs Pro is limited. For me the only noticeable thing is ProMotion (120Hz). Can't say 2 GB of additional RAM is seen somewhere as big differentiator. So it goes down to 12.9" screen size option.

As somebody who uses iPad Pro 12.9” as daily driver I don’t necessarily agree with the next steps. iPad still has a long way to go, but right now the most pressing issue at hand is the quality of 3rd party apps (yes, I’m looking at you Slac

Had exact say learning recently, when I tried MBP 13.3” after almost exclusive use of iPad Pro 12.9”. 4:3 screen gives me so much more text, so much more space in terminal I literally felt uncomfortable using 13.3” screen.

Depends how you look at it. If I consider the amount of cables/charges/earpods we have as family this is logical move. We don’t upgrade all the devices every year but it still adds up. Most of them are just throwaway.

All I'm missing now is ability to provision droplet without public IP. Sure I can disable the interface, but in VPC I really don't want publicly accessible resources except well defined entry points.

As family we had a pretty 'bad' flu in February here in Czechia. Correction, not a bad flu - but the worst ever. It matched most of the symptoms - including coming in 2 waves. Youngest child went almost with no symptoms. The one w
