This part of the manual lists several advantages as compared to simply packaging MySQL and memcached together, the first two probably being the most significant. http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/innodb-memcached-bene...

In the SEO realm, the majors (google/yahoo/bing) prefer microdata: http://schema.org/ http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&... (However, given lack of browser support, microformats are still key for mobile).

New research suggests that children make you happy. Looks like "you" means "fathers": [...] analyses revealed that parenthood was associated with greater satisfaction and happiness only among fathers. Ouch.

You have to have Developer Tools installed. I am at work right now, not on a mac, but I will try from memory. I believe you get it from Xcode > Developer tools > Get more tools. I don't recall the exact menu tree but I am sure you c

In my cohort of 12 individuals, 4 are male. And in my chair, 100% of mobile engineers are female. Woo hoo. Now let's move on to your article. So much material there, where to begin! We are feminising medicine. It has been a profession do

I just googled male vs. female percentages of UK doctors. Looks like the ratio is roughly 40% female to 60% male. In what alternate reality is that "predominantly female"? This whole save-the-men hysteria is getting out of hand.

The parent's point was not that these concerns are invalid but rather that HNers are severely biased since they only apply them to women. To counter, you proceeded to repeat the same concerns in the same bigoted manner. I've been there. I

Yes, it's better to base one's actions on empirical studies than on intuition. Yet we all have to put our pants on one leg a time, and it's far, far better to be out of the house in time for work than to sit there paralyzed and unable to ma
