Giant glass roof with no internal cover is the worst design decision. In Australia it's unbearable on the hottest days. We bought one of their clip on roof shades, but the clips grtadually broke or got lost.

This is a huge problem that could be solved by using local timezones instead of just EST.

> Let’s assume tariffs are used as a means to bring manufacturing to the US. I don't think it's that altruistic. This is simply a way to defend or fund income tax cuts. If you look at the federal gov P&L according to DOGE

I'm the same - just turned 50. The lightbulb moment for me was when I found out my HBDI [1] profile - my thinking preferences are heavily skewed toward analytical and experimental, and away from practical / relational. My manageme

We have a model-Y for 18 months, it was our first electric vehicle. In another 18 months when we change the car, I'll get another EV but not a Telsa. Only because of Elon, unfortunatly.

For the most complete analysis of the evidence for Omega 3 (and other miconutrients) the very best resource I've found is Dr Rhonda Patrick: https://www.foundmyfitness.com/topics/omega-3

I expect take up was in the low single-digit percentage points. So charging every single subscriber $2/user (even if they don't want it) probably yields significantly more revenue.

I agree. It feels like Google are shoving AI down our throats and making Workspace customers pay for it's development. I don't want your half-baked LLM features.

Think of dbt as yarn for SQL, only the SQL is built from jinja templates. dbtlabs also sells dbt cloud, which provides a runtime for your dbt projects.

Those concepts were invented at Xerox PARC in the 1970s; certainly UNIX had them before MS windows, and "bob" was just a windows application anyway.

Relying on good faith won't help you at all. Someone at the uni has taken this personally, and has attacked you. At this point, if you don't defend yourself - that person has won. Please seek legal advice.

On the home page, rather than having the horizontal scroll you can just have multiple rows for each category, that's fine - but the horizontal scroll is bad for several reasons. The font size is a bit small for people older than mid-40

That's not correct. A runway can be used in either direction, if you look on Google maps you can see the runway at Jeju has markings at both ends including a number (denoting it's compass heading) - both ends are usable. You alway

Agree. It's disingenuous to work around the company's security controls, it's also foolish as you're potentially exposing customers secrets to theft.

That's not the real story. The RF environment is noisy, with naturally occuring static "sparks", but also with manmade RF noise. This static and RF noise is AM. It's impossible to filter it out from an AM signal, and so
