I've looked into building this for phone numbers. The main problem is that phone numbers are expensive to own. All the solutions that exist "rent" you numbers temporarily so that prices are reasonable.

Only if Firefox makes it easy and free to create unlimited addresses and/or disposable address. I use owlmail.io for hundreds of accounts (major sites included) and haven't had an issue.
