From what I know of existing EEG technology, the news here is left-right signaling, rather than simple on/off. Fascinating and cool as hell, but really limited for HCI applications.

I'd prefer not to manage finances at all, really. If you want to get paid for inventing, patents are just one part of that. Too lazy to deal with licensing isn't a good reason to eschew patent reform btw.

Yes, the buttons on the contact area. Also, the skewed proportions of these elements: http://i.imgur.com/mGnCSp6.jpg on one resolution leads me to think you're relying on a grid framework,(in this case bootstrap) perhaps too much.

There must be some reason twitter shut down posterous, I assume it's a competition thing. R.I.P. to my favorite blog platform.

That sounds like a perfect scenario for patent licensing.

This highlights the disconnection between motive and work. I think the motive for most people to try the startup game is to free themselves from the constraints of typical work environments. Success means the freedom to use your time as yo

Just to derail a bit... I've always disagreed with Jobs over the filesystem thing. There's just a minimum level of knowledge a computer user needs to use the damn thing, and file systems are really fundamental to that. I've never seen an

It also looks vastly less efficient, loading every image size in addition to the one needed. The server side technique could be achieved in any language really, so it doesn't require PHP unless we use that library.

How does this compare with existing solutions like: http://adaptive-images.com/ ? Obviously this is client side, does that make it better? Timing my page load around a set of loading images seems counter intuitive; there's lots of other

Consider that dissonance: a website is a magic black box from the outside. That will work to your advantage, you can skip the technical details and make it as efficient as possible. This means you should focus on selling the site as a solu

I honestly didn't appreciate "A Christmas Carol" until I was thirty. The spirit of Christmas Present is Dionysus, and I think this is the Santa archetype either in prototype or metaphor. Portrayal of wealth is great social commentary. The

It's a common problem, and so worthy of a solution. I'm not sure the "get over it" solution is working. It's accepted that developers will work without wearing full suits. This isn't different, maybe allowances should be made for producti
