I guess I have a slightly different approach to my contributions. I really couldn’t care less who gets credit, I just want the bug fixed! I’m an OpenBSD user and I trust the core development team way more than myself. If Theo responded “I l

I guessed that this had happened once I started seeing base74 in the upgrade logs after running a “sysupgrade”. I’m excited for the new release. I always enjoy reading the changelog.

If they didn’t expect blowback, it really shows how out of touch they are. I’m assuming it’s more like the recent Reddit drama where Huffman was like “we don’t care if people are mad, they won’t go anywhere”.

It's fair until they change it without warning. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. I love Unreal, but I know it's coming.

I realized, after talking to a bunch of people about this, that people outside of Hacker News just don’t care about privacy. It’s unbelievably sad to me. I don’t see any solution in sight without regulation, and that simply isn’t even being

One can easily get around this by encrypting all their emails on their local devices before sending. I encourage everyone to use up as much of Google's infrastructure as possible with data that is useless to them. Granted, I run my own
