You do realize that most of this is US propaganda, right? Xinjiang is like a fully developed economy and Uyghurs are doing well. I visited Beijing last summer and asked some Uyghur workers who discussed their conditions openly. The re-edu

You're confusing hybrids with plugin-hybrids. In either case, these cars are far more efficient than standard ICE cars even if you never plug them in (e.g. your garden variety older Prius doesn't support plug-in but is far more e

This is part and parcel of the collapse of western capitalism (aka American empire). You get two main choices when capitalism fails - fascism or communism/socialism. It's clear that the UK has chosen fascism (either liberals lik

It's amusing to think of Apple as a "monopoly" (if anything they have a monopsony on TSMC production) but let's just replace that with "giant" for purposes of discussion. Tech giants typically devolve local ope

Smog checks, brake replacements and all the fluid/filter replacements are nontrivial regular costs. EVs have only wiper fluid, 12v batteries and air cabin filters to replace regularly. Brakes literally last the life of the vehicle.
