Since ChromeOS itself is just a stripped down flavor of Linux, they can hardly just drop Linux support. Unless they also give up on ChromeOS, which is unlikely but not impossible for Google.

I think on some level Apple is happy to have this lawsuit at this time. The App Store revenue has become more significant and also presents big opportunities for growth. Especially with the arrival of ARM macs, the future points to a world

Rust's loss is Firefox's gain. I'm sorry to see you leave your Rust work, but I think Mozilla is right to have their best engineers focus on their core product. If we hope to see Firefox survive and remain relevant, then Mozi

Call me a pessimist, but I think Netflix will only be ad-free for as long as it is a competitive advantage. The day will come when that’s no longer true, and the ads will come. When their growth has stalled and they have raised prices as mu

I’m afraid it’s inevitable. If there’s a large enough audience, someone will be willing to pay to market to them. Almost no business will be able to say no to the money.

I thought Trump doesn’t like Microsoft anymore? Didn’t he want to block them from buying TikTok and would instead prefer Oracle as the acquirer? Anyway I can’t keep up. It’s all changing faster than middle school friendships.

Sure, there are all kinds of trade offs between speed, range, useful load, altitude, burn rate, etc. But it’s really the combination of 450, 4500, and 20+ that would make this plane revolutionary . Otherwise it wouldn’t be all that interes

Definitely some extraodinary claims that will require extraordinary evidence to prove. Especially getting 20+ mpg for 4500 miles, while flying at 450mph, which is near the top end of what piston/propeller aircraft are capable of. For r

Kind of like the term “hacker”? I’m just going to assume there’s a site out there called Dropshipper News where the white hat dropshippers gather to talk about their industry and bemoan the negative connotations the name has taken on.

Besides the massive heat/power issues you would have, main memory like DDR4 is optimized for different characteristics than graphics memory like GDDR5 (mostly trade offs in latency vs bandwidth).
