I only hear about poor people committing crimes usually on the local news. Everything else is billionaire did this, politician did that, corporation did both of those and more.

Okay, but you just invented your own bar of "smart human" to be the universal bar (I don't share that opinion). Also, lots of smart humans can't do the freaking Putnam, it doesn't make them stupid. It makes them non

I would agree if we weren't starting with LLMs for a baseline. The first AGI will know at least as much as LLMs, IMO, and that's already not-stupid. Especially once they can separate out the truth in their training.

I'm not a new programmer. I started as a teen in the 90s. I was a pro for some years, although I have not been for a few years now--I own a small B&M business. I don't have a desire to become a great programmer, like you might

People should try to switch to a more code-focused interface, like aider. Copy and pasting code it gives you just means your workflow is totally borked, and it's no wonder you wouldn't want to try to let it generate code, because

Are you sure it would be hard? Maybe it only requires asking the LLM to be creative when designing the algorithm. The parent poster spent some time thinking about it, obviously--he didn't generate it accurately "on the fly,"

In some regions (mine) Craigslist never took off, and now is a ghost town. I would estimate it gets less than 1% of the traffic of FB Marketplace, in terms of number of vehicles posted. And nearly all of them are car lots, not individuals.

Yes it does, at the top of every chat there is a drop-down to select the model, which displays the current model. It's been a constant part of the UI since forever.

It's so weird that people use questions that are well-known for duping humans, who we all consider to be general intelligence. Getting this question wrong doesn't say much about the intelligence of humans, why would it say somethi
