Could you elaborate on the definition of 'low utility'? Is it only in the context of memorization (retaining), or in the context of general understsnding? Can't see how summarizing isn't a preprocessing step for learning

I was using Excalidraw for (maybe unconventional?) mind-mapping, and one feature that I learned to appreciate is the ability to introduce unstructured objects into the diagram (e.g. add a box grouping arbitrary links, drop an image etc). I

I've been doing mind mapping using excalidraw, but it lacked an easy way and visual way to link cards. This Canvas solution might simplify things a bit, though I wonder how much "freeform", unconstrained doodling I will be ab

What's your use case? In my case, obsidian + anki seems to do very well (I can keep a decent amount of context in my cards) for math/CS topics. Can you also give an example how you benefit from your workflow, and say a bit more w

Wow, didn't know about the Kindle plugin--cool! Obsidian has really been a life changer for me, mostly due to Anki integration, and live mode with its support of mathjax which makes everything look so neat. I've tried Dendron befo

In Germany (as far as I know), quizzes and homework are not graded, only some % of them needs to be completed in order for people to be admitted to an exam. Having a similar system would work well there, if one can make exams (and midterms?
