If he made the layout a bit uglier, and made the language more esoteric and generally difficult to understand, this would make a fantastic academic paper. But seriously, what a wonderful world it would be if all papers were this well writte

The fundamental problem with OSS games: Many people who contribute to OSS are doing it because they use it in their work. No one uses games in their work. More significant, all - every single one of them, professional game developers are up

How about we put a distinctive icon in the trusted zones, which the renderer won't allow under any circumstances in the untrusted area. Also with a buffer so nothing too similar is allowed, or perhaps a warning comes up if something is

I've produced commercial 3D video content (blu-ray extras, commercials, shorts), while not believing in it at the time. Yet now using VR I think it's incomparable. I'm a believer.

If you use VR to mimic a multi monitor setup, for sure. But there are potentially new ways to organise media and interact with clips which VR allows. I'm really interested to see what we can do in VR for video editing.

Try searching the web to see if/how it works with Gems. Go on, I dare you... 'ruby crystal gem', 'crystal gem', ... For that matter, crystal vs elixr. Kind of wishing all these projects just had made up names.

I write aviation software (i.e. running real time in aircraft) - not safety related in any way - and I use Ruby. I use it because iterating quickly and being super productive means I can do more myself and keep the team small. And it's

Everyone mentions the learning curve... I just learned it myself and pretty much was up and running after an amazing and fast paced intro tutorial of about 20 mins. Maybe it used to be hard to learn because now it seems to me very logical.

Would love to see this restricted to which lines are actually executed in a typical use. I.e. ignore dead code which is still in the repo. Probably wouldn't be too hard for the interpreted languages.

More useful perhaps to spin up a blind person to remotely use your app or site? A sighted developer who only has experience using screen readers with one app is going to be like a chef with no taste buds.
