The only website where you can get real reviews from actual users is- webhostingtalk.com All other hosting review sites are sponsored by the hosting companies. (and the reviews in those sites are also written by them.)

What do you mean by Django/Google App Engine? They are two different things. As for your question, I dont think that there are any Herokus for django right now although MediaTemple.net is working on one- http://mediatemple.net/labs/gsdjan
