Perhaps it's worth to consider taking them to a small claims court. I don't know what the odds of winning are but it's quite the hassle for a company.

Yea it's too bad. If the core team was more open and/or communicative I'd use Elm for production. Maybe you've already seen this but there is a pretty solid blog post detailing the state of Elm: https://lukepl

Yes, a common GPU compute platform would be great! Even if Apple isn't going to support it being able to handle all of it in Vulkan would be nice. Maybe OpenCL can be implemented on top of that.

Not to downplay the difficulties that you've faced. But that's extrapolating on very little data. Luck is another (big) factor in life.

Thanks for sharing, that sounds quite nice. Always interesting to see what kind of new programming ideas are being worked on.

It could be possible that it's computable from a theoretic perspective but not a practical one. After all our biological brains are quite different from our electrical computer chips.

Yea I think we just don't know enough. Even if curve fitting alone wouldn't be sufficient it may very well play a crucial role in the agi algorithm.

Timeouts and defaults can be considered as part of the algorithm. The problem is that you may be unable to determine a reasonable timeout beforehand. The timeout as a practical solution is also described under 'engineering approaches&#

Google relies for a great deal on advertising and gathering user data, unlike Apple. On top of that they don't have tight control over who sells Android devices, nor do they appear interested in doing so. Sadly it doesn't look lik

While I really liked the idea of Hellgate: London the subscription model they attempted to push was a huge turn-off. It was more like Diablo/Diablo 2 than it was an MMO, very few people playing together in an instance. This means that
