Is this possible to change to the scrolling direction to up and down only? It would then feel more like reading a newspaper and also work well with HN's scoring system.

The association is not same as causation. I think It would be more useful to derive or at least inference the causation of success/failure from your data. For example: if someone can't convince other people to join, how could he be able to

love the article. I would add that simplicity is just the right amount of abstraction. a little more becomes complex. a little less becomes incomprehensible.

if you outsource your development, the work will still get done, but just don't expect it to be the leader in the field. by the same token, you can always get the work done with compiling-js approach, but don't expect it to be the winning p

agree with webform is death statement. MS should remove it from asp.net. it is drag and drop programming for another age and another generation of developers.

C# is great, it is even better with the vs.net, I found it is easier to express what I want to do in c# syntax. ASP.net is fine too, you can choose not to use the server control approach which I think is the bad part of asp.net
