I don’t really understand how you got that from my post. I can and do drop in to refactor or work on the interesting parts of a project. At every checkpoint where I require a review I can and do make medications by hand. Are you complaining

As far as I can tell as a heavy coding agent user: you don’t need to know any of this and that’s a testament to how good code agent TUIs have become. All I do to be productive with a coding agent is tell it to break a problem down into task

You can be as specific as you want with an LLM, you can literally tell it to do “clean code” or use a DI framework or whatever and it’ll do it. Is it still work? Yes. But once you start using them you’ll realize how much code you actually w

Meh. What I’m doing with coding agents is what I’ve been doing for years: TDD except I use prose to describe what I want instead of writing every line of code and then spend more time in review/qa

Animating accordions is almost always a bad idea because the content length can make it unbearable. In general I find animations on the web overused and unnecessary

I run https://pico.sh where we don’t ask for email. Even on our website we instruct users to generate a token so if they do lose their key they can use it to recover their account. People regularly lose their ssh keypair and als

Andrej talked about this in a podcast with dwarkesh: the same is true for the internet. You will not find a massive spike when LLMs were released. It becomes embedded in the economy and you’ll see a gradual rise. Further, the kind of impact

When you are at the age to notice your parents well being, you are no longer a young kid. Little kids are extremely demanding, both physically and mentally. That’s not to say it gets any easier, but when you aren’t sleeping for 4 months it

I have a dotfiles git repo that symlinks my dotfiles. Then I can either pull the repo down on remote machine or rsync. I’m not sure why I would pick this over a git repo with a dotfiles.sh script https://erock-git-dotfiles.pgs.sh

I’d rather figure out how to stop taxing people and place the burden on companies entirely. Make it progressive like income tax but make it based on revenue not profits.

This is a great reason why letting websites have direct access to git is not a great idea. I started creating static versions of my projects with great success: https://git.erock.io

You just tell it the problem and it'll fix it. It's almost never been an issue for me in Zig.

Are you using it only on massive codebases? It's much better with smaller codebases where it can put most of the code in context. Another good use case is to use it for knowledge searching within a codebase. I find that to be incredi

Great point! I'll add a comparison to the readme. To answer your question directly: abduco does not restore terminal state or history. All it does is force a redraw on re-attach. This works for some programs but for many it does not

I run a similar site ( https://pico.sh ) with public urls and thought the same thing for us. The public suffix has some fuzzy limits on usage size before they will add domains (e.g. on the scale of thousands of active users). I do

That's fair, but the same argument can be made for Go's verbose error handling. In that case we could argue that `try` is magical, although I don't think anyone would want to take that away.

I'm excited to see where this goes. I recently did some io_uring work in zig and it was a pain to get right. Although, it does seem like dependency injection is becoming a popular trend in zig, first with Allocator and now with Io. I

Yes this completely replaces `shpool`. I totally understand your concerns for creating new terminals for short tasks. I generally lean towards `nvim` terminal buffers to solve that issue. Or I have a `term` session open that I can quickly
