Note, I'm a complete newbie. I spent 12 months doing a Django job, and started a Rails job about ~4 months ago. Before that I followed frameworks but wasn't nearly as engaged. The impression I get, is that in general, these langua

So, at my old job, we had 'TDD', but we weren't particularly good about it. Maybe it's because Python's testing frameworks aren't as worked out as Ruby, maybe it was because we were lazy. I genuinely don't

So, one thing immediately comes to mind: $0.96 for each document? If it was something like an Earnings Report for a startup's investors, that could be $80+ per report . Does scaling never factor in, here? Bulk orders? Edit: Got rid of

It's a language that excites a lot of people. You get performance that isn't far off the mark of C++ or Java, while also not being that much more difficult than Python or Ruby, and as an added bonus, concurrency is a snap.

As much as I'd love to see Shell and many other oil companies get a huge downsizing, this is some pretty onerous lying. Google didn't "censor" anything, they complied with a DMCA request to take down the videos. It isn&#
