I built and launched countless model rockets as a kid and a month ago took my son out with my dad to relive the experience and it was downright magical. Beyond that I'm really happy to see this model simply because it's REALLY HAR

The second paragraph for both your links tries to compare the cities in terms of apples-to-apples by population: NYC: "However, compared to other communities of similar population size, New York has a crime rate that is noticeably lowe

I have a dentist who loves to use the little remote camera to show me everything about my teeth and let me tell you: it doesn't make it any better! Totally agree on the "understand to remove fear" side of things though. When

I love how clever this is! If I wasn’t pretty sure that gunning the engine in park repeatedly is a bad idea (and would draw more than a few stares when done from a street-parking space in Manhattan) I’d give it a try. Would very much like t

I can't speak to AWS but in my experience with an expired credit card and a few dollars owed on an otherwise unused account Azure will permanently destroy your data and resources after about 5 months.

Funny, that's actually how Jay Cotton (co-creator of Kali) learned about Doom and what led him to start exploring the network side of gaming. There's a decent interview with him that relays the story: https://episodicco

YC probably has some really interesting data on this for pre-seed companies since moving from a required relocation to fully remote. For new founders the value of being in person around other founders in the epicenter of your industry can b

Briggo kind of did this. They started with convention centers and airports. Costa bought them reasonably quickly. It was the perfect middle ground: it didn’t claim to be top of the line but it beat most chain coffee for espresso drinks.

Great article, I and many other founders I know have had a version of this idea (fast, high quality coffee, delivered) and no one I know has made it work. Since you lived this journey I'm curious about your pricing: I always imagined t

Oh sure, the list of FCC rules is seemingly endless... but it's still a pretty wide margin of media and speech permitted especially on the "talk radio" side of things.

I seriously considered buying an AM radio station a few years ago. You can get a fully operational station and the land it's on for under $200k in pretty populated areas. Something about just broadcasting whatever you want into a prote
