This is not how science and engineering work and an arxiv should not be taken at face value.

Social media derived dynamics != "thoughtful digital participation". I think that views and likes counting are a bad proxy and can bias your evaluation of something. In fact, HN doesn't display upvote count on comments and th

SVG benchmarking is a thing since GPT-4, so probably all major labs are overfitting on some dataset ov svg images for sure

I'm pretty new user, I can't downvote (and flag maybe) I think? I read there is a karma threshold to downvote but I don't know what it is. Sometimes I don't have the flag button though

I disagree. You can simply code in a way that all test passes and you have more problem than before reviewing the code that is being generated.

Have you checked experimentally the response of the LLM? Anyway I don't think this is ""PhD-knowledge"" questions, but job related electrical engineering questions.

He uses vim and copy paste code from web interfaces because he wants to maintain control and understanding of the code. You can find proofs of this setup on his youtube channel [ https://www.youtube.com/@antirez ]

I can't understand why once you have a PhD anyone should care more about the subject.

I'm going a little offtopic here, but I disagree with the OPs use of the term "PhD-level knowledge", although I have a huge amount of respect for antirez (beside that we are born in the same island). This phrasing can be misl

You clearly have not read the study. Problem is developers thought they were 20% faster, but they were actually slower. Anyway from a fast review about your profile you're in conflict of interest about vibe coding, so I will definite

This should really be top comment. The problem is this tools can really give us some value in certain type of areas, but they are not like they are marketed.

Not a useful commentary. ANN and BNN are slightly correlated. That fact that you want to believe it is a brain tells a lot about you, but it doesn’t make a model a brain. Only suggestion I have is “study more”.

Retina Display means nothing. Just because Apple pushed hard to make it common to everyone it doesn’t mean it’s a good technical name.

I’m no better at naming things! Shall we propose LLM feedback loop systems? It’s more grounded in reality. Agent is like Retina Display to my ears, at least at this stage!

Finally some serious writing about LLMs that doesn’t follow the hype and it faces reality of what can and can’t be useful with these tools. Really interesting read, although I can’t stand the word “agent” for a for-loop that call recursiv

You're sabotaging yourself though. You are avoiding learning. What's the point of shipping a Chrome feature before graduating? Just to put in your CV that you've committed in some repo? In the past this would be signal of com
