I would like to see a copyright that expired quickly, but had unlimited renewals for ever increasing fees. This would allow the top % of copyright works that remain profitable to be held by their creators, while the vast majority of work wo

They cheated. The page says all code will be rerun with different input at the end of the week to determine the true winner, so all the hardcoded answers will drop out at that point. Though it seems this problem has an obvious fastest solut

How is this different than Apple's iOS5 compatibility list? Well, besides how much easier it will be for third parties to add ICS to Nexus One.

What is interesting to me is how quickly this narrative infected the media. The only think reported about OWS is clashes with the Police, or the lack of clear message. The narrative "OWS has no message" was started by media pundits. It's un

Here's the deal with Chiropractors. They heal symptoms. It seems to work great. You walk out feeling better without having to put in significant effort. They know your symptoms will keep returning and you'll end up paying them every week or

After reading this, it struck me as this is how intents could (and sometimes) work on android. It's not perfect. You can't string together a bunch of apps. But it's nice when I click on a youtube video, the youtube app seamlessly takes ove

Incorrect, exaggerated title. They have 95% confidence that it's not in the 145-466 GeV range. They haven't searched the 114-145 GeV range. There's still plenty of work to be done, and sensationalist headlines only serve to mis-inform.

Why would you cut Social Security? It's in no danger. And frankly, medicare wouldn't be if we killed the payroll tax cap. I never understood why it's ok for payroll taxes to be regressive.

I don't think this line of thinking works. Criminals aren't your customers. If you respond to incidents with non-customers in mind, you're going to create a negative response in current and potential customers. This was an opportunity for A

It's hard to see an author so defensive about their work. There will always be naysayers. Ender's game has persisted for so long in a way that so many of it's peers hasn't. We have to remember that negative experiences effect our users more
