Bad Idea? I'm a web dev and maybe some other people could weigh in here on the privacy concern I could imagine from this. Scenario below. 1. you visit site: whatever.com 2. I have a hidden input with a name="address" 3. I have an onchange e

This is just microsoft running chat logs through automation scripts. I'm would assume these links also coordinate content of the conversation with the link and are correlated into bing search results. Side Note: I wouldn't be surprised if g

I agree with you in regards to trying to separate your pro life from a handle. If you still retain your anonymity, then keep it that way (keep your 5th amendment rights lol), especially since prospective employers and investors do check our

Even though Google+ was/is compared to facebook...I don't think it is much like it. All I have really seen bloom from Google+ is hangouts with live streaming. I constantly hear businesses or other devs promoting a hangout feed. Facebook I f

I always laugh a little when I hear a professional use the term "troll." It really reminds of video games. Tra la la la. Excerpt from the article: "There are fewer trolls for us to fight."

I like PHP! It's the first OO programing that I learned and paved the way for me learning C, C#, Obj-C...and now I'm studying Java. If it wasn't for Php's loose declarations (as compared to C) than I would have had a harder time to grasp ob

Nice! When you account simple changes like this, it's amazing just due to the massive improvement. I could just imagine the saving for Walmart if they followed Ikea's model with doing away with plastic bags.

I'd love to see coinbase's network traffic right now as this spreads through the net. I really wish coinbase would allow currency exchange from bitcoin to any currency (hint hint coinbase). I remember one of the first algorithms I wrote was

Great point on the pennies, that totally skipped my mind. In regards to melting, this is funny to admit, when I was young, I used to believe that coins should be worth more than dollars, because if they ever lost their value, I'm pretty sur

Guess it was only a matter of time before "the man," got involved in bitcoin somehow. Side Note: if we think we actually own the dollars in our wallets...remember that it's illegal to deface government property (like writing on it)...so no

All the projects resources went into the pitch video...not a cent went to R&D. Even though crowd sourcing is awesome in my opinion, just like any investment, it comes with a risk. Every purchase we make in life is an investment of some

I love the ending! "I'm also a person. Programming is just one thing I do." I'm a programmer, but creating a product of their own is difficult and I commend those that do so. I've learned while doing my projects that aside from programming,

Just Semantics. Twitter is technically correct by terming "followed by," instead of "follows." As we all know (and many celebrities and gov officials) with Twitter, a delete button doesn't really exist.
