Most public pianos are fleeting - usually they eventually get vandalized or destroyed by weather. For this website, if its not seen again for a few months then its "likely not available" (but maybe worth a check)

:) Yeah there are a few "false positives". I flag them manually and have flagged this one so it will disappear soon...

Thanks for noticing that - didn't realize those went away. Will fix. By the way, Japan is probably the densest in terms of available pianos: https://pianos.pub/location/japan

This is brilliant- nicely written and a great introduction into a neat approach for generating music. The resulting piece is a very convincing piece of classical music too! The simplicity in developed Python framework for this kind of music

Thanks! I think SuperCollider is the best out there. It's syntax is weird yeah but you can use OSC to talk to anything else (this could easily be added to miti as well). Really I don't think a really good all-in-one exists there a

I love these text-based languages for music composition. Its something that is approaching a gap in music composition in real-life vs via computer. In real-life you can tell your bandmates to "just play a I V IV in C" and they get

Echoing a lot of sentiment here, you can do pretty much all of these things with SuperCollider. I'd go straight to SuperCollider rather than a "frontend" like Overtone/SonicPi. Not that these frontends are bad, but Super

This is the first Go-to-Rust post I've seen! Are there others? This one is especially good too, lots of practical examples with their sublety explained well.

The first port is for communication, the four other ports are for transferring data in parallel. You can setup a relay to use only two ports (one for comm, one for transfer) but in general I found that the parallel transfer give a little sp
