I miss doing these at http://gitready.com . For years now I've accepted suggestions but haven't written any up. If you submit a PR for a new post I'll gladly merge and publish it (after review!). https://

Call it my crutch, but I got an app shipped without having to worry about a lot of the baggage that comes with Objective-C as a language. Here's two of my favorite examples of things I didn't have to worry about: http://nshipster.com/nil/

The call to action in this post is not strong enough - RubyGems and RubyGems.org are completely volunteer-run, open source projects. If you want to fix these problems, please get involved and stick around.

Nice! Mostly just trying to spread the word that it's possible to get SCSS/CS working minimally with Jekyll instead of resorting immediately to complicated plugins and hacks.

You don't need Grunt or the jekyll_asset_pipeline to get SCSS or CoffeeScript running working with Jekyll: http://quaran.to/blog/2013/01/09/use-jekyll-scss-coffeescrip... That being said, I love it when people build on top of Jekyll - it'

This is one of the strongest arguments I've seen for simply starting with the "default" stack. Move to other stuff when you feel the pain. If you're teaching or just starting off with Rails, don't use the "Prime" stack stuff until you reall
