It's probably because of the massive amount of fraud going on , with people pretending to be someone else to get the job. Reddit seems particularly bad about seeing things from anyone else's perspective.

Having run a few background check websites where there was a data broker ... no they hate the attention. I got a visit from the FBI for using the name of their database ( we could show the results from the DB, but we could not use the name

I loved the Canary Islands ( I was only there for 2 days though ). Seems like it's big enough to have both big cities and small towns. And the food was amazing.
