My entire life until past few years, the only population concern was overpopulation. What would we do if override Earth's carrying capacity? Now that it looks like we'll coast up to not quite 10 billion by the end of the century w

There is a strong likelihood that we have more than that. Legitimate cracks are being made in manipulating the biology of aging for the first time. Rapamycin, acarbose, SGLT2 inhibitors are existing (generic even) compounds that are showing

I feel like there's something I'm missing about Hugging Face. Every time I try any demo of any model on the website I can never even get a response before it times out.

The biggest problem with Watson was that it wasn't ever really a specific software. It was just kind of IBM's branding for machine learning consulting services.

From reading this letter, I don't understand: * Why is there an assumption that AGI wants to domainate anything? * Why does AGI want to dominate the physical universe? * Why is AGI interested in "using our atoms"? * How would

Where would you consider NYC in this framework? It's a city of transplants and many people come to make their money and either leave (or move to the bedroom communities outside the city). But for the most part, laws are enforced, there

If NPR was controlled and coerced by the United States government, wouldn't there be at least some observable difference in content depending on who was controlling the United States government at any given time?

I would certainly be peeved if I showed up to a midterm that asked questions outside of existing human knowledge.

I think the hallucinations show that it's not simply overfit to all of human knowledge. To hallucinate, there is a certain amount of generalization and information overlap that is necessary.
