One method that I've seen used (heard it described by a guest one of Leo Laporte's podcasts a looooong time ago) is to iterate account names by year. For example, this year the email address would be pyre2016@example.com, and next

It doesn't really make much sense. Even if the toys were only bought for boys, and even if they strongly wanted Kylo Ren characters, there are many significant interactions between Rey and Kylo Ren in the movie. Why would they not

My point was that it's not as cut-and-dry as the parent post made it (like balancing a math equation or something). The 15 that you are not helping (at the moment) don't just wait on a shelf until you're ready for another bat

I'm not seeing Amazon "criticized for offering jobs". Instead I see a list of very specific issues that arose from this arrangement: 1. Amazon may (or may not) have promised that the jobs were temporary-to-permanent rather th

The flip side is (e.g.) promising one thing, but delivering another then claiming it's "better than nothing" so nobody should complain.

I've met some people that have moved away from SF who are both intelligent hackers and arrogant. It's possible that your intelligent hackers were transformed by the SF atmosphere.

Are you implying that every single person under the age of 70 should be able to do it because your 70 year old father can do it? That's a pretty broad statement backed by nothing but anecdata.

This is a specific XFS behaviour. In this case, the slab was using up 4GB of RAM on a 8GB machine, and all of the normal tools were telling us that we were running out of free space in RAM. No such problems on other file systems.
