BTW, the enantiomer thing is a common trick used by the pharma industry to double the life of a patent. They first release the racemic mix, then the purified, active enantiomer once the original patent expires. The racemic mix usually has a

Given how similar drug names can be, for future proofing, you'd want the auto-correct dictionary to blacklist drug names (trademarks, international nonproprietary names, alternative chemical names if there are any, etc...).

You need to be aware there's a problem to begin with. I didn't know auto-correct was enabled by default on macOS, and would never have noticed that the OS was changing what I was typing without notifying me.

That would have been my guess as well. I wouldn't have guessed that those paintings had such a planar palette Well, not that flat actually, the way the image were processed also makes them flatter than they really are see https:/

The thing is, even renewable energy sources are not that green. The energy that is diverted for human use used to take part in atmospheric, geologic and biological/ecological processes. It is also disruptive (if less than carbon dioxid

You are disregarding the dissipation side of energy consumption: i.e., concretely pollution and wildlife destruction. While the supply-side of the equation will at some point prevent growth, the dissipation side is not concerning, but alarm

This is indeed exactly the same principle, where you fool the brain into connecting a buggy representation with a concrete object that can be gradually modified into something that better fits reality. Re. digital vs. puppet, that's a

So it can't be statically compiled, although it doesn't require an interpreter provided a full language compiler is part of the runtime of compiled programs whose input can update the code... Interesting... very meta :-)

Do you have an example of a language that can be interpreted but not compiled (formally a language such that there exists a valid program that can be interpreted but not compiled into machine language)?

I'm actually in the process of founding a small farm :-) I tend to conflate the food industry with the food mafia though, and I'm highly skeptical of the long term prospects of civilization if we pursue our growth-based economy. R
