As soon as you involve Amazon, that's surprisingly not true. Really. O'Reilly makes more on e-book sales directly through their on-line store then they do on print. However, every e-book they sell via Amazon, their margins are ver

Congratulations on self-publishing your work. I know how much work it is (published a book this year, working on a second) and I know what it's like when you get criticism. Keep up the good work and a big lesson we learned was this: Ta

I would be delighted to see a book on Flask. While most of my work is in Django, there are times I use Flask. And... while Flask is simple enough there are times it would be nice to have a go-to reference for common tasks.

Great idea, but it turns out to be not that much was to be had by the amount of grief and shame I've accumulated: just $66.66 so far. I seriously need to write down a list of "unwritten rules that get you spanked". :P

Let me see what I can do on my end. Again, I'm willing to give all proceeds to the PSF or whoever. Are there published guidelines on this or is this one of those unwritten rules I've stumbled into?

I didn't know this was something you weren't supposed to do. Seriously, if I could delete this link, I would. If this is a problem, I'll donate all proceeds to the charity of your choice. I'll post images of how much is earned.

Disclaimer: I'm one of the authors of Two Scoops of Django. This screencast looks awesome! Okay, now to your questions: First, the screencast for creating a HN/Reddit clone is a tutorial. It's a good place to start when developing in Django

What I don't like about the new Flickr is that if you look at single photo, it's presented on a black background. While this is stylish, it's also feels distracting. I miss the white background.

Thanks for speaking up! FWIW, you did most of the work for the migration and rebuild. I apologize for not naming you when most of this was your work. :-)

Just wanted to say that I helped build this site. It's 2009/2010-era Django site built on feincms with a PostgreSQL backend. Originally it was a Plone site but after a year we realized it was too hard to meet the deadlines of NASA VIPs. So
