In Toronto there are demand for multi-tennent low rise buildings. Non gets built because the upstart cost is too much for a small builder to invest. So only 60+ stories towers gets built since the initial permitting cost is the same.

At least here in Toronto (linked article is Bloomberg Canada), banks (minus tech department) are back to office 5 days a week. I just feel like outside of tech, wfh isn't much of a debate.

I recently had a random observation. My folks own a cottage 1.5h away from smack middle of Toronto (I drive it often) We call it a cottage because it has no running water, no broadband, overhead electricity lines that literally gets knocked
