I second that. I also hope they add necessary resources to grow SmartOS.

It's weird the author uses git submodules. Ansible has a requirements file you can use for dependency management. http://docs.ansible.com/ansible/galaxy.html#advanced-control...

Same here. I like that Gitlab is so open. I hope they continue to grow and more people trust them to host both private and public code.

I have been wanting to switch to OneNote over EverNote recently but have had really weird problems on OS X. Every single time I open the app it requires me to sign in again. Spent several hours Googling and trying different "Fixes"

I'm really excited for 0AD because I want to play AOE2 but only have OS X and Linux. Thanks to the 0AX devs for all your hard work!

Agreed. Been using Ruby for a few years now and it never stops being enjoyable. Hoping it keeps going for many more years!

Yep! Between syncing issues on previous versions and the latest pops every time I open the app I'm trying new things. Most things are going in Jrnl. I think I'm going to give OneNote a try for everything else. Friends swear by it

I did not have that problem, though navigation apps in general kill my battery. I think the only feature I wish it had, which might be in there now, is to export the places I marked as a favorite to something such as CSV or JSON.

Wow this is awesome. I used Maps.me in Europe because I didn't have data and it can give you directions without data. Great app for traveling.

I like to use Jrnl and keep everything in a git repo: https://maebert.github.io/jrnl/

Thanks for the reply! I think Project Services makes sense. This was just me not reading the docs or researching this better. I'm going to look at adding some services later. Thanks for the information!

Agreed. GitLab's permission system seems better for specific permissions so hopefully that will translate well when/if 3rd parties start writing plugins for it.

I have only had to deal with Cox (FL) and Verizon FiOS (FL and D.C.). I have had very few minor issues that at the time I thought were a big deal. It blows my mind the more Comcast stories I read how bad it can really be...

The fact that Ruby is the language chosen to implement these tools is the proof it's not just for Rails. Also, Docker may become more popular but I doubt it is going to replace Vagrant. There are just too many times where you need a fu

Self hosting is a big plus for Gitlab. I've used it at a few places and had nothing but a good experience. Upgrades are easy and it's easy on boarding people who are used to Github. I would recommend giving Gitlab another try...

Agreed. I've used Yammer before and it's pretty decent. If I was a company looking to use a "Social Network for Work" I would prefer a separate product like Yammer instead of Facebook.

This is something I am constantly trying to get better at. I have recently started using jrnl: http://jrnl.sh I really like it because you can export it any many formats which I think would come in handy later to import the data

Agreed. I tried to use Evernote for GTD but found Wunderlist just works a lot better. The Wunderlist App is fast and the general design leans more towards GTD. Evernote is still a decent app for keeping notes and filing things away but I&#x
