I don't know about Adobe stuff, but Xcode on the iPad is not so simple. First, the iPad has to be powerful enough to do fast compilations etc. But even if we give it that, it is a looooong way from being used as a computer. How are you

Easy. Because the people not using Twist would have a spam problem. And if they are required to use Twist, then their email is not an actual email any more. Your inbox would be a mess of Twist messages. Good luck finding the emails you are

Oh cool. Let's force a dev to take like 5 minutes to write a commit message. That will make all of us more productive.. If this is a joke, eh it's not a great one. If it's actually for real, might I suggest making a script fo

Oh god. I also prefer tabs, but if a file has a choice of tabs or spaces, never change the whole thing to what you prefer. Always keep it as is.

Check out this video. He has a nice explanation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_SvuUYQ5Fo Basically, painting/diagram is good for more abstract overview, and text/code is for more specific instructions.

I am actually working on a react native app with native modules in objc, swift, and a combination of the two. It is stable and easy to work with all three. Just use what you want to use. You wanna make it full swift, go for it. React native

How do people handle work lunch? I find it very hard to enjoy and eat healthy. There are like 10 food places close to the office, and half of them don't have the nicest food. And I end up rotating between the rest 3-4 places every day.

Some interviewers think like that, with this "wow me now" attitude. These are the bad interviewers, and honestly I don't much care about the answer given to them. The one losing is the company by not hiring me because I didn&

Well, I don't know about how good this question is, but it is one that gets asked a lot. And I do still think that 100% of developers have an answer, because I am sure every developer has felt proud about something he did, no matter th

The way I think about that question, and in fact that's the question I have gotten many times, is "what's a technical problem that you solved and you are the most proud of?". In this question, 100% of developers have an

I agree, but what if this script takes itself 10 min to run because it has to do lots of work? That's the slow cases I mean. As for tests, of course it's great to have tests, but how do you test if a streaming video from a phone a

I think git bisect is one of the most useful tools that git gives you, and one that not many people use when they should. It's not every day one needs to bisect, but when you need to, it's very good to know about it. One of my wor

I also agree completely. One thing I want to add is that with personal projects, I care about my code and the structure etc as much or maybe even more sometimes as the "work" code. It's just me in the personal project.. why n
