I just tried navigating to crashie8.com on IE9 RC, and while it crashed the tab (and one of the other tabs that shared the same process), nothing happened to the main IE window. The isolation seemed to work alright. Did you try this with th

The IE team has made many changes to improve the tab opening and closing speed. These operations are snappy on my machines. Could you confirm that you see this slow behavior in the IE9 RC?

Thanks for pointing this one out. I was aware of many similar approaches, but having them expressed so succintly really drove home the point of how to use them and progress through them on a particular 'bug' or project.

Personally, I much prefer this way. I never noticed it on smaller projects but now I have to work on a large codebase where some functions become hundreds of lines long. Having variable declarations and assignments structured this way makes
