Kind of? Companies like Salesforce, Shopify, etc. are still poster children of SaaS and their software is certainly not simple. There are definitely tons of the type of company you’re talking about though.

Definitely true - usually you don't have a choice though due to vesting schedules and/or illiquid markets pre IPO.

A risk parity approach would say more like 95% to 5%, but that works too.

The variance in potential outcomes of holding VOO is much, much lower than the variance of holding crypto. Buying VOO buys a share of the profits of the work of many millions of people. It also speculates that other people will continue to

Owning a small slice of a business where you're employed can also help make you rich if it grows a lot. In the tech world there are probably more financially independent employees than founders, because of the growth of some massive co

Obviously there is no perfectly accurate machine for any application. The extent it will be inaccurate depends on a lot of factors, such as tool length, material parameters, feeds/speeds, etc. You can probably cut aluminum somewhat acc

Most likely because credit card forms are very often served in iframes. 1Password fills iframes too (though maybe only for cards, not sure).

It might be fair to characterize some products traded on CME as gambling products, because people often use them to gamble. Though of course cash settled futures have other purposes too.

That's what you wrote originally - and to me it doesn't indicate whether it can also be updated from other sources or not. Lots of content is shipped in the iOS image but can update independently.

Is the database frozen or can they push out updates independently of iOS updates? If not, targeting individual users definitely doesn't seem possible unless you control OS signing.

Steel makes sense for extreme durability - I suppose you could use extremely thin steel wire for in-ears to make it flexible, though it might require a very special alloy to be thin and low resistance? In my experience, litz wire is excepti

I use litz wire for headphone cables. For a cable that's constantly on you, there's always some chance something happens unexpectedly. I've broken my share of earpods.
