Also fair criticism. Further, even if they were to one day be widely adopted as membership tokens, coupons, or licenses, the underlying networks are still wildly overvalued. I also don’t like the idea of living in a world the crypto enthusi

But if you're in the business of issuing stablecoins, that's precisely what your job is - to know where your (or rather, a client's) money is. It's a core competency. Not a treasury management issue as with Fortune 500 c

To be fair, its a very new tech - the ERC-721 NFT standard was introduced in 2018. Whatever could be built or not on it was lost in the madness of the bullrun. I remain on the fence, but can't dismiss it entirely.

How to audit a USD stablecoin: 1. Calculate all current circulating supply of said stablecoin across all chains 2. Calculate value of deposits across issuer’s bank accounts in USD. If both number are equal, congrats, your stablecoin passed

What would you recommend as the best first step to introduce someone to VR? I have an Oculus Quest but always felt that the hardware was insufficient. Would you recommend upgrading to a newer Oculus? And what would be your "safest"

Would Ark still have that huge run up if a completely unpredictable event (pandemic) and an even more unpredictable response to that event (lockdowns and massive money printing) had happened? If the answer is no, then it’s largely pure stup

Man, if it really was that amazing, you'd see it in the numbers. Facebook acquired Oculus in 2014. Its still a rounding error in terms of revenue in their annual reports. Personally, I just felt it was gimmicky - try it once or twice f

> At best it might be useful at work Unless everyone can use it, its not going to work in an office setting. A single person in a team of six who gets motion sickness with VR (very common) makes it nonviable for the entire team.

VR seems to have an insurmountable motion sickness problem. I tried the Quest with a dozen friends and half of them felt sick enough within minutes to never try it again.

Look at initial funding rounds of a hot new startup these days. Especially in areas like web3. There will often be participation from dozens of VCs and angels, mostly random names and funds that came up a couple of years ago. There is reall

Smart. I’ve adopted the same stance - I aggressively use whatever app/service offers me steep discounts and cashbacks with no intention of ever being a long term customer once the discounts dry up.
