There are quite a few scales out here that can measure this exact thing. I know a big point is the AI recognizing it, but as people tend to cook with similar ingredients anyway, it shouldn't be too hard to adapt it as part of a process

Removing the "Slack and" from that sentence is a very bleak and dystopian message.

I know this is off topic, but I noticed the typography too and was just seeing if I could tell what it was before looking. But oddly enough, I can't seem to find out what typeface is used using the developer tools for the life of me. D

Looks like they just took down their Facebook page due to negative reviews (as I was viewing it, interestingly enough). Curious to see how they attempt damage control. https://www.facebook.com/thebeeinc/

I'd recommend reading this article about the licensing language that's being disputed now: https://medium.com/@dwalsh.sdlr/react-facebook-and-the-revok... The author is the same person that has an article on

Not really sure what point to take away from this article. It's not Twitter, because of some differences in the way the network is set up? It doesn't really seem to make any arguments to the first article (or more so comment threa

This is great to hear, glad to see good FOSS projects get the help they need. I only have a little bit of experience with Krita, but it's always been in my mind as a go-to if I ever need those tools. It does seem a bit misleading, howe

While I should clarify that I don't care in the slightest, I did find it interesting that they decided to use a Bill O'Reilly quote to title the post, given all of the controversy around him lately. Not that I think it is offensiv

If you're taking a hardline-traditionalist approach to what constitutes music, why stop at pencil, paper and hard work. Music has existed long before written notation and documented musical theory. You're not only taking an incred

This seems like an incredibly high bar/expectation to set for themselves, and while I'd love to see them succeed, I don't have a lot of confidence. The fact that they've decided to start out building desktops really soli

Well, this is an LTS release, so it will be supported until 2020. By 2020, however, not only will Django 1.11 have reached End of Life, but Python 2.7 itself will have as well. Any company concerned with using a Django version past EOL will

Changing the name now will be quite a bit easier than later, plus the discussions around the product won't be centered around how it's using an already well known name. EDIT: "but if it turns out to be a problem, we'll f

I'm not sure it's as much an argument for dark matter and more an argument against the idea that if you must create a force or type of matter (or matter itself) in order to make a model work, then the flaw is in the model. By show

I think that the downvoting is more likely tied to your outlandishly wild claims as fact of both cricket usage in Soylent and that the government will force consumption of it. Neither of those claims are at all verifiable or likely within a
