Agree with you. I am damn sure that GPS satellites are a military target! They are even owned by a military organisation. It just so happens that organisation is the most powerful military power in the world. Given that, the next best thing

I think this is true in lots of places. Actually I cannot think of a society where this is not true. That is just one more reason for legalisation of sex work. I do not expect it in Poland though but that is the way of the land.

Keep in mind that here in Poland it is said cdprojekt of Witcher and cyberpunk fame started by selling bootlegged western games. I do not have a source for this.

Nobody speaks about the effect of little kids on young parents. It is nightmarish and there is nothing to do about it. I wonder how much damage we get to our minds due to sleep deprivation and shocks. Yes shocks. I once laughed at a report

This is what I learned over the years after my techno fantasies were confronted with the real world. Technology can give you good protections to make blanket or mass interference on people’s affairs costly, but the illusion of safety it giv

Great heuristic! Will try it out. I basically gave up on searching for recipes on google. I found that supermarket or store-websites often get down to the point and without ridiculously special ingredients for something as simple as a soup.

The problem is mixing data with logic. I cannot imagine how maintainable a small program becomes when this concept is employed, much less a big one.

Oh my! It does not really matter if this is actually self-aware, but in terms of productivity: well it has the potential to be revolutionary. No longer does a person need to know how to program. Just talk to a computer and the computer will

My thoughts exactly. When our little program crashes, even in C or assembly, your operating system cleans it up for you. Just redo-it better next time. Compare that with chemistry. Maybe what is needed for chemistry is an "operating sy
