Agree. Maybe This is obvious for devs of OSes that are file (descriptor) centric like Linux and POSIX. Also that pattern is a bit too sweet as it can be a nice way to create condition variables or queues, the problem being one is now paying

Tenders very often require prior history and experience to evaluate quality, ability or plain moral suitability. In a more publicly visible industry you see this, where a given banker or bank cannot get a license for some operations, Revolu

This is also what stuck to me. The world is not as one wants and is up to the world to come to me with a fix. Self reliance replaced with self pity, will end up with sadness because the world will never be exactly as we want. I do find the

I thought about this and it gets even better. You do not really need shelves as you just use the clean dishwasher as the storage place. I honestly don’t know why this is not a thing in big or wealthy homes.

I need to plug “why evil exists” [1] as it was where I first learned about Leibniz and how he framed the renascentist period as one where men got closer to God through progress, until shook by the Lisbon earthquake. It is in audiobook form

All the inconsistencies you suggest sound like a trap, especially when you suggest ABI and API behaviour divergences. From what I understood of your macro idea this would lead to API changes that would lead to ifdefs for different (g)libcur

Great answer. I think he will indeed make defense more transactional(to other countries) and social security benefits further privatised and moved out of the public books. Not sure it is great, but you kind of gave the answer.
