This definitely varies by university. I had haskell and C on my first year, only had Java on the second.

Meh, I want notifications on for whatsapp but I definitely don't want them on news sites. This is the wrong way to go about this IMO. Just a default, should definitely be overridable.

You can use that feature to do some incredibly specific targeting to mess with people - as in, make some incredibly targeted ads that will only show up for a single person.

Can't trust user input, you'd have to spend quite a bit of energy just checking to see if it's good. You also want to transcode multiple resolutions, it'd end up being quite slow if it's done using JS.

But what requests would it even make? If you opt out you're effectively telling it to _not_ make any requests.

This is for writing kernel modules, which ideally need to be integrated in the kernel build system.

For that you can probably just use Garage Band, which is effectively just Logic with less features, and free.

Reaper is absolutely amazing, works on Linux just fine (natively! And supports LV2 plugins) and it's only $60 (and the demo version is a WinRar-like "I'm still using it" button). It's also a completely no-bullshit a

This isn't about needing it though, as far as I can tell it's legally required, so I don't know how (if at all) they're getting around that.

This is an absolutely amazing tool and is one of the main reasons I keep buying stuff from Thomann - I'm looking at a pedal, see the little Stompenberg FX demo popup and I can try it out right from my home! It's great and has defi

I'm assuming they just write code in a compatible way. It's not _too_ dificult, but it does add a lot of version checks everywhere. For example, you can use a lot of Python 3 features in Python 2 via the future package.

I have the soldering iron that is based off, the TS100, and it's really useful. The CPU lets you regulate temperature, and it has features like lowering the temperature when you don't move it for a bit. That's what the CPU is

You don't have the private keys. If coinbase loses them, you're out of money. Possibly. They're insured supposedly, but if you have your own private keys then the only entity you have to deal with in this case is yourself (th
