They should ban David Cameron and monarchies. I hope that ban covers TLS too. Brits don't need HTTPS websites.

What's the point of having a pop-up that tells you "this site uses cookies" when tools can tell you exactly that without the webdeveloper's having to make a single modification to the website?

That's super easy to get around. It only replaces the first occurrence of each.

I think he makes a valid point about how it's not necessary to have both develop and master if you use tags. On the other hand, I think the `--no-ff` merges is what git-flow got right. The separation of features into their own branches

I used to ride without a helmet too. I though I'd as soon get directly killed than get a brain injury. But then you do get a brain injury and not get killed and your life turns into hell, especially if your brain is the one thing you&#

Well, you should always be able to tell if you limit yourself to HTTPS sites. If they offered their own devices and had hacked them to make middle-manned HTTPS sites appear safe, that would be crossing the line for me.

If the user knew what they were doing they wouldn't have typed that. `cat a b > a` is the same as `cat b > a`. There's no reason to add the a before b except to confuse.

He who controls a Queen can make functionally equivalent copies of every Princess and Princess-baby in the Queen’s lineage. They have the skeleton keys to your ‘secure’ kingdom and could at any time decide to become a fraud factory and dis

Maybe among IT people they were but, IT isn't everything. If you had shown 1kX to a physicist, he would've automatically assumed that you were talking about 10^3 times X no matter what X was. I actually live (and grew up) in an SI

Unit prefixes should be unambiguous: 1 GB = 1000 MB; 1 GiB = 2^10 MiB. People who say 1 GB = 1024 MB are wrong. Let's not perpetuate this slip in judgment (while acknowledging that many programs still do use this misbegotten system)

A pretty cool improvement. And you can easily add remote directory autocompletion if you simply steal the autocompletion function of `scp`: complete|sed -n 's/ scp$/ sshcd/p'
