Would it help if Uniswap implemented a cooldown on adding/removing liquidity?

Sorry, 10k tx/sec on sharded ETH2 sounds really high to me, is that really the goal or a typo?

Do you have a source on people generally disliking async/await? I've become a fan of it in JS.

Who knows, deep learning AI has progressed to be just about smart enough to make autonomous poop-picking-up robots feasible—maybe it’s a sign

They could do bake ads in JS too, but websites aren’t really incentivized to do so as it would increase latency and complexity.

I'm also a layperson but my take was that the turtle visual cortex doesn't carry individual 'pixel' signals (and low-level features) like ours does. Instead it immediately turns the pixel signals into a high-level holist

It’s not impossible to make copies of and secure private keys if you have a plan. (But even if you had bought some and preserved it, would you have had the tenacity/foresight to hold onto the BTC for 7+ years?)

Exactly! When I’m on my phone I want to use the internet, take pictures, use banking apps, access email and Dropbox, and watch video. That’s mostly it. I don’t expect or want to be productive, as security is more important.

Codebases are, in my mind at least, a virtual space. I believe that one day programs will look like factory floors or cities. They will produce and consume physical analogues for values and types, which you can pick up and examine. Want to

For sure, learn from it, but it's nearly impossible to keep secure. Start new projects in a safe language.

Yes it’ll reduce latency, but doesn’t it also increase parallelism? A single-threaded program ought to improve overall, unless the extra overhead you mentioned dominates. A parallel program might improve or not. I think if you wanted to do

Feels like there's too much impedance mismatch, as integers aren't a first-class citizen in JS. You can use array buffers, but... I imagine you would want precise control over numerical representations everywhere to fully auto-dif

To fit a better lens and image sensor, they would either have to thicken the Macbook lid or add a camera bump. Seems unlikely.

I had the same experience, in SF too. Second floor corner apartment on Fell St, a wide and busy road along the park. The windowsills on that side accumulated black dust unlike the other side of the corner.
