This seems like a question that helps people preserve internal just-world thinking and protect against the feeling that the idiots are in charge. Why would he personally need to oversee running the company into the ground? in a universe wh

Going to nerd out on you here and point out that in a six-degrees-of-separation situation, you'd need 7! retweets to reach everyone. Carry on! Edit: or maybe 7! - 1

I'd be curious to hear examples of views that people consider reasonable that are censored by normal society. Not implying that they don't exist, just that most of the views that are "censored by normal society" that I&

Yeah, I think that's because it's retina? I've been using this pretty heavily for the last couple of days and I am liking it with the exception of one issue which is becoming a deal-breaker for me: it defaults to opening a ne

I didn't notice this before, but the little circles on the upper left to help you navigate are great, are there keyboard shortcuts for them by any chance?

I like this quite a bit. I'd consider using something like this if only because it doesn't have ads at the top (it's a low bar). Some comments: - it seems like the order of the columns is not consistent across searches? - I&

I'm not exactly the right person to answer this since I haven't done SRE at Google, but I did turn down an offer to be a Google SRE, and then subsequently went to work in a heavily SRE oriented organization, and eventually landed

Wow, this is good analysis and very prescient. I don't necessarily condemn this as a strategy, if you can afford it - there's always a chance of an interesting pivot. The problem is when people know your company doesn't comm

I imagine most allegations are true since the “conspiracy by unrelated groups of people” is a pretty thin hope to hang on... but yes, agreed. Unfortunately people comfortable with adulation so rarely seem to deserve it.
