I've been living in Vilnius (and surroundings) for the past two years, and I would definitely recommend it. The city is very cozy, well kept, and relatively cheap (small flats in the center run for around 500€/month).

Looks awesome! It might be just what we need for a project we're working on at my company. :-) Do you perhaps have a writeup or something about the convox architecture? (Which AWS services it uses, how etc)

Take a look at https://github.com/mondora/asteroid (I'm the main developer behind it). It exactly lets you use meteor as a self-hosted firebase.
