Is this a recent experience? I've found the voice search to be incredibly proficient recently. It's slightly embarrassing, but I use it for search and text dictation almost constantly.

If I only wanted to use the core functions of the phone (browsing, calls, etc.), I would definitely buy a Windows Phone. It's just lacking a lot of fun, useful apps.

Khan has said that he wants to explore more specific, advanced topics at some point. I think they realized their opportunity to stay relevant (and well funded) is to first focus on K-12.
