You could also use [Protontricks]( https://github.com/Matoking/protontricks ) as such : protontricks -s <search_term> and it will return anything that matches the search query with its appid like : Found

It's great indeed and it's advancing quickly. I hope it'll reach 100% coverage at some point but I don't know whether that's achievable.

I guess you can code without auto-complete but that would mean having to check the documentation at every step instead of having it auto-completed on the go. Depends what people prefer, for me it's a step back.

One thing I'm missing in all these languages is 100% auto-completion like the one you have in Java or C#. I have yet to experience a single instance of Intellij not being able to auto-complete something or not do it completely. I know

There is history delivery on first connect on Matrix whenever I set-up a new device. I don't think XMPP has any future. It's a hassle to set-up and I have yet to see a really modern looking client. Blabber does not fit that at all

Well, one of the banking app that I use is really well done (the other one is garbage), it makes my life really easier and has QR code payments included which is how I pay everything online in my country (Belgium) instead of having to use t

In this case, the app has its own keypad when logging in so I'm not sure what the added value is security-wise. I'm just not able to launch the app while an F-Droid keyboard is set as default which is just annoying. There's m

Fun fact, one of my banking app prevents me from launching it if I do not use a "certified" keyboard app. I had bad luck with any keyboard from F-Droid.

In my experience, the predictions were atrocious and not very smart, at least in French. It also couldn't detect words that had personal pronouns or determiners with an apostrophe, I had to type the apostrophe manually which is a no-go

Except Pi-Hole has some serious limitations as it only acts as a DNS server. I haven't been able to block Youtube ads on my tv for example.

Well, I never said I was concerned with security. I am to some extent but not to the point where I inspect every single update. What I value most is having every software or library available through some form of package manager. Downloadin

You still need to distribute the static executables and there's no way to update them besides downloading them again unless the software has some auto-updater built-in. That definitely doesn't solve the issue.

That's the thing. Not every package is available on every distribution. Snap/Flatpak were meant to solve that issue. Edit: There's also the fact that practically most packages on Ubuntu or Debian, for example, are outdated.

There are no web clients for Murmur that supports voice to my knowledge. What makes you think it will be possible to integrate both?

I do not use Discord but I'm under the impression that it has voice channels like Mumble and Teamspeak whereas Matrix does not (yet) have them. This is a big deal-breaker for many teams and I'm definitely waiting until it has that

There is plenty of things that can make your life easier on Github/Gitlab, especially when working in a team: - Issue tracker - Merge requests that are easy to analyze - Ability to put comments during a code review on specific lines o

We still have data caps in Belgium. One of the most popular ISP has lower tier internet subscriptions which have a 150GB and 200GB data cap per month. Even though most are "unlimited" nowadays, they're still under a fair usag

Paradox games are notoriously difficult. I remember, when I bought Europa Universalis 4, I went through 6-7 hours of tutorials on YouTube only to get started. It's still really difficult and I don't understand everything.

Depends on what. You simply cannot beat Telegram when it comes to desktop. Their client has feature parity with the mobile app (except for secret chats) and is fast & native (Qt/C++). Signal on the other hand has a quite poor deskt

I think it is just due to the fact that Google has such a massive market share. In comparison, Bing seems pretty insignificant and would make less of an impact.
